James H. Lucas
“Jay” received his bachelor’s degree from the University of South Carolina in 1975, then went on to receive his M.P.A in 1981 and J.D. from USC School of Law in 1987. Jay became a partner with Lucas, Warr, and White in 1994. He is a member of the South Carolina House of Representatives from the 65th District, serving since 1999. In December of 2014, he was elected Speaker of the House.
Jay is based in our Hartsville office location.
H. Thad White Jr.
“Chad” received his bachelor’s degree from Francis Marion University in 1987 and then his J.D. from USC School of Law in 1990. Chad serves as Chairman of the Darlington County Planning Commission.
Chad is based in our Florence office location.
Cody T. Mitchell
Cody received his bachelor’s degree from Presbyterian College in 2008 and his J.D. from USC School of Law in 2010. Cody is a staff member for Palmetto Boys State and a board member of Darlington County Habitat for Humanity. He also sits on the boards of the SC Association for Justice and the SC Bar Military and Veterans Law Section.
